03 / 05 Number game: closest pays
Hundreder
Find your number.
Hundreder is a number game from O&Z. You pick a whole number from 0 to 100, the casino draws one, and the closer the draw lands to your pick, the more the round pays. No reels, no cards: one pick, one draw, and the distance between them sets the return.
How a round plays
- Pick a whole number from 0 to 100: drag the ruler, step with plus and minus, type it, or take a random one.
- Set the bet and press BET.
- The casino's number counts up from 0, and the multiplier shows what each number on the way would pay.
- The number lands and the game shows the distance: EXACT MATCH, or OFF BY and how many.
- The multiplier for that distance is applied to the bet.
What it has
- The payout falls with distance on one smooth curve: in the demo, 10× on the number, 1.05× at eleven away, and less than the bet beyond that.
- The numbers wrap around: 100 and 0 are one step apart, so no pick is better placed than another.
- The draw is a count of about three seconds, and your number changes colour as the count comes closer.
- A tap on the table or the Escape key skips the count.
- A provably fair panel shows a hashed seed before the bet, takes the player's own seed, and lets the player reveal and check it.
- Round history keeps the last 24 rounds.
- Game sound and music have separate switches.
- It plays in the browser on desktop and phone: the ruler takes a mouse, a finger or the arrow keys.
